For Notre Dame's new Poverty Studies Interdisciplinary Minor, the University needed a brochure that would illustrate how the program fit within the larger educational mission of the university. The final design took a fresh approach to cost effectively distributing materials to students.
Instead of using a conventional brochure format, Proteus proposed using newsprint (12 x 12 broadsheet) to reduce costs while illustrating the programs ethos. Furthermore, instead of describing the program, the program set out to outline the problems of poverty to illustrate the value of new Minor.
